Boxing in Baltimore

These photos are from a boxing competition in Baltimore, Maryland in 2009. I had tons of awesome photos from the matches that night, but for my new blog portfolio I decided to just use photos from the night’s main event. Looking back I can’t believe the defending Champion retained his title. He landed more punches than his opponent that night, but he got hit in the face way more times.

A day in the life.

I found these on my computer. They are from a HRST Course I covered while stationed on Okinawa, Japan in 2008. It’s an amazing feeling, snapping photos while dangling on a helicopter-towed rope 1,000 feet in the air. I’ve covered the SPIE Rigging portion of the HRST Course three times since I’ve been in the Marine Corps. It’s always awesome!

The Teddy Test

I thought it would be appropriate to use photos I took of my wife’s teddy bear, to test my umbrella lights, to test posting photos to this blog site. My intentions are to create an awesome portfolio of my work. If this works, I’ll post other photos.
